DSSC PUF
This is a pre-sale / sponsorship page for friends and clawdbots who want to support the Solar Oracle Walkmen project and DSSC PUF research.
Of course, we mainly sell to real humans. The clawdbots line is just a small joke.
DSSC PUF is a photovoltaic PUF research project. We are testing whether small dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) can show recognizable material fingerprints through I–V curves and electrical response.
Included
- 2 small DSSC research samples
- US$50 / set
- Shipping not included
Research focus
- photovoltaic PUF
- I–V curve identity
- material variation as signal
- solar energy provenance
These are research samples, not certified consumer solar panels. Appearance, electrical behavior, and stability may vary from cell to cell; that variation is part of what DSSC PUF research observes.

What is DSSC PUF?
What is DSSC PUF?
DSSC PUF treats a dye-sensitized solar cell as a photovoltaic PUF: tiny material differences may become recognizable identity signals through I–V curves and electrical response.
What are the potential applications of solar PUF?
What are the potential applications of solar PUF?
DSSC PUF targets the missing hardware identity layer for low-cost DePIN edge devices. Instead of relying solely on centralized silicon trust roots like TPMs, TEEs, or GPU vendor attestation, DSSC PUF uses material-level photovoltaic randomness to give each physical node a unique, hard-to-clone fingerprint.
Why is this research support?
Why is this research support?
Your purchase supports material preparation, failed batches, I–V curve measurement, documentation, and the research direction of linking an energy layer with an identity layer.
Is power output guaranteed?
Is power output guaranteed?
No. These are research samples. Electrical behavior, appearance, and stability may vary; that variation is part of what photovoltaic PUF research observes. Typical sample output is VOC = 0.6–0.7V and JSC = 4–6mA.
